A: Brick is a wonderful building material and is virtually maintenance-free.
Any brick, however, may need an occasional cleaning to maintain its beauty and original appearance.

As with most brick, Bilco recommends cleaning our brick with a commercial masonry cleaning product. Do not use chemicals or high-pressure washers that are not specifically designed to clean brick as they may alter the brick’s appearance. You can also hire a masonry contractor to do the job for you. Just make sure to check the contractor’s qualifications and references.

If you decide to do it yourself, we recommend test cleaning a sample of the brick to make sure the results are satisfactory.
