 Gilbert Tamez began his career at Bilco Brick in May, 2000 as plant coordinator. Gilbert was promoted to production manager in 2002 before assuming his current position as plant manager in 2004. A graduate of West Mesquite High School, Gilbert brings years of invaluable work experience to his job overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations at the plant.
In addition to working alongside his team, Gilbert enjoys the daily, and sometimes unpredictable, challenges he encounters at the plant. The challenges “keep my senses sharp” as they present opportunities to resolve difficult issues quickly and successfully.
When he’s not at the plant, Gilbert enjoys being with his family and coaching kids in youth sports leagues. |
